Nova QA — a QA engineer you build up over time instead of hire

What it is

Software that tests other software the way a person would: it opens the application in a real browser, works its way through it, tries the things a careful tester would try, and writes up what it found for someone to accept or throw out. The difference is that it remembers. Week by week it builds up a picture of one particular application — which pages exist, which journeys matter, what has broken before, which reports were already rejected — so it gets better at your product rather than staying generally capable. It is for teams who release often enough that nobody has time to click through everything again. The site is open to read; signing in to a queue is by invitation.

Nova QA’s map of this website. A header reads “9 pages, 43 transitions, 6 journeys, 76 selectors” beside Download JSON and Copy Mermaid buttons; below it a dark graph draws one box per page — the home page on the left, then /about, /contact, /projects, /projects/nova-secrets and /services, then /projects/faxtorial-tools and /projects/starlane — joined by faint curved lines for the links between them. The contact page is outlined in amber and labelled as a form.
Nova QA, as it actually looks.

Yours would not look like this one.

This is my own; most of what I do is someone else’s and stays private. Tell me what you are working on and I will tell you whether it is a good fit.
